PGA Teaching Professional - Richard Gompels
Richard brings to the Oxley Golf Complex a wealth of knowledge and experience in coaching, club fitting and game development. Richard has been a PGA Member since 1999 and has gained an Advanced status in Coaching through the PGA. He uses a variety of teaching aids and technology to help golfers better understand the mechanics of the golf swing.
Richard has worked at several of Australia’s leading golf clubs, including the Australian Golf Club, and more recently, Royal Queensland Golf Club where he has helped many club golfers as well as Professionals and PGA Trainees to improve their games. Richard has had the opportunity to deliver many golf programs to golfers including juniors and pennant teams.
He enjoys the challenges and frustrations that learning golf brings and to that end, is always willing to help golfers of all levels to improve.
